Rep. Caldier discusses replacing foster kids with illegal immigrants on KTTH


    Joining Jason Rantz on KTTH, Rep. Michelle Caldier, R-Port Orchard, explains her concern over a recent report by KING 5 Investigators describing how a Kirkland non-profit, Friends of Youth, removed local foster children from a home it operates, replacing them with unaccompanied youth who crossed the US-Mexico border illegally. Caldier repeats her belief, stated in the KING 5 report, that a non-profit would do this because of more advantageous funding — in this case, from the federal Office of Refugee Resettlement.
